Sample: this is how a patient agrees to visit texts
Gale Care Inc. sends Gale visit texts for the clinician practice a patient booked with. A patient agrees in the box below, on the check-in page. This page is a sample: it saves nothing and sends nothing.
Check-inYour visit with your clinician
This is the box a patient sees. It covers texts and email about appointments and bills, starts unchecked, and is not bundled with any other agreement. The clinic's own forms sit above it on the real page, each with its own box.
Where it happens
On the patient's own check-in page, at https://www.gale.care/checkin/ followed by a private link sent for one visit. Because each link belongs to one patient, this page is the public copy of the step. A patient can also agree in their Client Portal settings, or by telling their clinic, who record that the patient agreed out loud, with the date and who recorded it.
What the box agrees to
- Program: Gale visit texts, sent by Gale Care Inc. (https://www.gale.care) for the clinician practice the patient booked with.
- Messages: appointment reminders, confirmations and changes, video-visit links, forms and forms reminders, a bill (the amount due and a link to pay), a waitlist opening for a clinic's waitlist, and a card step. They carry a name, a time, a link or a code, and for a bill the amount due. No marketing.
- How often: message frequency varies. Reminders at most 1 a day, and none from 9 PM to 8 AM in the patient's time. Waitlist openings and forms requests at most 1 a day together, with the same quiet hours. Texts about a visit booked, moved or canceled, and a one-time code the patient asks for, are not held for quiet hours.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
- Stop and help: reply STOP to any text to stop all texts, or HELP for help. Reply START to turn them back on.
- Choice: agreeing is never a condition of getting care.
- Privacy: mobile information and text-messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
